mzBETAR designed a Border Inspection Center in Mozambique. The infrastructure, built within the Port of Nacala, is served by a new roadway that connects the Port of Nacala to the existing road network.

The Detailed Design included the external platform component, covering the roadway component of the project, and the Architectural and Specialty Design component for the entire building supporting the infrastructure required for the inspection and control of heavy goods vehicles unloading at the Port of Nacala.

The platform layout included the construction of a checkpoint building, offices, a scanner, and a reception area. This Detailed Design was based on the Preliminary Study prepared by mzBETAR in November 2023.
