Touristic Urban development comprising 45 plots, for an estimated population of 26.700 inhabitants, including residential apartments, condominium housing, touristic villas, hotels, restaurants, commerce, administrative and public services, scholar and health facilities, with a marina, golf courses and beach facilities. Baía dos Elefantes occupies 750 ha, and is located along the coast of Angola, in the province of Benguela. It is approximately 120km south of Benguela town, and 12km south of Equimina.
Betar is responsible for the coordination of infrastructures projects and for the design of Foundations and Structures and Hydraulics of all the technical buildings and coastal path. Studies include Roads, Water Supply, Stormwater and Waste Water drainage, Energy and Telecommunications. It includes the design of the access road from Equimina.
Drinking water supply will be managed by the intake and desalination of sea water.
