CEiiA conceives, develops and operates new products and services for technologically advanced industries (automobile and mobility, aeronautics, sea and space), thinking about technology based on sustainability.
Its new facilities included the construction of two structurally independent buildings, intended for CEIIA's Engineering services and rooms, including a test hangar, and respective elevated connecting walkways.
The first building, with an elliptical implantation (larger diameter of 53.7m and smaller diameter of 21.7m), consists of reinforced concrete structures, post-tensioned concrete and metallic structures. It has one basement, ground floor, three elevated floors and a roof terrace.
The second building consists of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and metal structures, with trapezoidal implantation, with a maximum length of 100.5m and a minimum of 70.5m, and a width of 43.6m. It has the ground floor, three elevated floors, roofing in technical terraces and curved metal roofing over the hangar.
The covered connection walkway is 13.0m wide and varies in length between 9.20 and 15.70m, consisting of metallic and composite structures.
The foundations of both buildings are indirect, through piles and micro-piles.
