The intervention encompassed new constructions to be undertaken under the contract for the redevelopment of Ribeira das Naus Riverfront Public Space.

Based on a reinterpretation of the riverfront platform in front of the Navy Central Facilities building, it was decided to reveal both launch ramps, making them stand out from the ground, assuming the form of an amphitheater facing the river and a subtle barrier between public and private space. A public sanitary facility (on the west ramp) and one for car parking (on the east ramp) were built at the upper end of each slope, under the platform.

This project also comprises two other small reinforced concrete structures, one being a fuel depot and a HVAC technical area.

A fence with fixed panels and swiveling gates separates the public area from the one belonging to the Navy.
