Funicular da Graça and Francisco Metrass 60 distinguished in 2022 and 2024
Betar participated in two of the projects that received Valmor Awards, granted on June 3 for the years 2021 to 2024.
In 2022, a residential building in Campo de Ourique, Lisbon, No. 60 Rua Francisco Metrass, designed by architect João Pedro Falcão de Campos, was awarded.
In 2024, the award was given to the Funicular da Graça, which connects Rua dos Lagares and Calçada da Graça, in Lisbon, designed by João Favila Menezes (Atelier Bugio).
Congratulations to the winners of these projects, in which Betar was involved, as well as to those who won awards in previous years, Architect Ana Costa (2021) and the team of Architect Pedro da Luz Pinto (2023), both authors of beautiful interventions and with whom Betar has the pleasure and honor of participating in other projects.
At the ceremony held in the auditorium of MUDE-Museu do Design, the jury evaluated a total of 556 work files and awarded six Honorable Mentions.
