{"id":11266,"date":"2023-10-17T11:19:12","date_gmt":"2023-10-17T11:19:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.betar.pt\/?p=11266"},"modified":"2023-12-15T11:55:54","modified_gmt":"2023-12-15T11:55:54","slug":"second-betar-art-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.betar.pt\/en\/second-betar-art-exhibition\/","title":{"rendered":"Second Betar art exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest paintings by Laura Caetano, Guilherme Figueiredo, Ana Malta and Francisco Ven\u00e2ncio will be exhibited at the Evelina Coelho Art Gallery, at the Guarda Museum, in a total of 23 paintings.<\/p>\n<p>Co-commissioned by Guilherme Godinho and \u00c2ngela Alves, and with the support of Guarda City Council, the second art exhibition organized by Betar presents the new works produced by four of the five artists who won the Jos\u00e9 Mendon\u00e7a Prize &#8211; 1st Betar Plastic Arts Prize, which was awarded in July at the Gr\u00e9mio Liter\u00e1rio, in Lisbon.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of 12 days, the artists took part in an Artist Residence, promoted by Betar, at Quinta de S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, in Mondego Valley, Guarda, where they were inspired to produce the canvases that are now part of the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>With the aim of contributing to the dissemination of culture, Betar&#8217;s main objective in this initiative is to promote the work of these young Portuguese artists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest paintings by Laura Caetano, Guilherme Figueiredo, Ana Malta and Francisco Ven\u00e2ncio will be exhibited at the Evelina Coelho Art Gallery, at the Guarda Museum, in a total of 23 paintings.
